This tea is magical. Whenever I feel a cold coming on, I drink a cup or two of this tea and the next morning, I feel significantly better and refreshed.
It’s really easy to make. You just have to make sure you add enough ginger. The ginger is what gives that healing zing to the tea!
For every 9-10 cups of water, I add a 1/2 cup of fresh ginger (peeled and cut) and two cinnamon sticks. If you want extra spice from the ginger, you can add even more!
If I’m feeling reallyyyy sick, I’ll add 3/4 of a cup – 1 cup of fresh ginger. Just be careful to not add too much or else the tea will be a little to zingy and won’t sit in your stomach well.
Let all the ingredients come to a boil together, and keep the stove on low-medium heat.
I keep everything on the stove for 25-30 minutes. Then, I pour myself a hot glass and drizzle in some honey, give it a stir, and start sipping my path to recovery.

About 20 minutes later:

That’s it! A powerful tea that’s super simple to make!
As always, thanks for reading 🙂 I’ll leave you with a song today that’s a bit melancholy. But it’s perfect for a cool, solitary fall evening as you enjoy a cup of warm, healing tea.
