Elevated Instant Soups

When I’m in need of a quick dinner and I’m craving some soup, one of my favorite things to use is instant soup. But I’m not talking about some cheerless, water downed, microwavable instant soup. I’m talking about elevated instant soups, which basically means cooking it on the stove and adding some extra ingredients lol.

But really, the quality of instant soup bases vary widely! And they can make for a pretty good meal when you jazz them up a bit.

Some of my favorite dishes to make that start with an instant soup base are udon, spicy tofu stew, and ramen (Sapporo Ichiban for the win), and I’m going to show you how to make all three today. They’re really quick recipes, as each soup takes less than 15 minutes to cook.
